According to the West Virginia Coal Association, "[i]n a recent national poll, a record 72 percent of opinion leaders said 'yes' to the use of coal to generate electricity and a record 69 percent said coal is a fuel of the future."

A reference to said poll would be nice.  Unfortunately, I cannot find one.  Scour for it at The West Virginia Coal Association.
